Make sure the Language bar still shows 'EN' for English, otherwise change it. Regardless, this probably won’t help Bethesda’s push for the Creation Club and the content it offers. Now return to the Skyrim start-up screen and press 'Play'. It’s rather odd that Bethesda decided to monetize the Survival Mode instead of releasing it for free like with Fallout 4 but such is life. There are a number of different free mods – like Frostfall and Campfire – currently available which can simulate a survival experience in Skyrim Special Edition. You’ll need to stay healthy, avoid being exposed to the cold for too long and use a horse or travel on foot to get anywhere. Not sure how many of these are essential and fixing conflicts are just providing a bit of consistency with the changes these mods are making to the other weapons and armor in the game. Here there is a ton of small CCOR and WACCF patches for all the Creation Club weapons and armor. You can’t fast travel and you have meters for hunger and thirst.
